Google Automated Pricing Question
Hi We are using your automated pricing tool for Magento. Can you help ? If we leave cost of goods sold or auto pricing minimal price with a Zero Value in it , how does google treat this ? Will it just ignore it or return an error ? The reason I am asking is that we are only going to automate pricing for only some of our products. They will either have a cost of goods sold and an Auto Pricing Minimal Price in both fields or a zero . If its a zero we dont want auto pricing to apply to this item.

If you leave these fields with a zero (0) value, the module will not send any valid pricing signals to Google for automated pricing.
In this case, Google will simply ignore the automated pricing request for that product. It will not return an error, because a zero value is treated as “no automated pricing configuration provided.”
As a result, auto-pricing will not apply to that item, which is exactly the behavior you want for products that should remain unaffected.
In short:
0 = Google ignores the automated pricing setup and no auto-pricing is triggered. This is expected behaviour.
If you notice any issues or the behavior is not as expected, please let us know and we’ll be happy to investigate.Comment actions
