Custom Order Email - where do you successfully update the HTML?
I've scoured the net to try and find a solution for this, but I've come up with nothing. I've built a custom order confirmation email to replace the existing one, and I'm struggling with ensuring that {{layout handle="sales_email_order_items" order=$order area="frontend"}} is updated properly. I've located items.phtml (three instances!), updated them all, flushed the cache, and nothing. It doesn't update the email that comes through - and I've selected the right one to send in the front end. So it's sending my template, it's just not updating the HTML for the order items.
Looking at other Magento solutions, you'd normally look at "/app/design/frontend/your_theme_name/default/..." to find the files to update, but that path doesn't exist. Instead you have a Pearl folder, then weltpixel and weltpixel_custom, but no other path to find those files. I've searched across the server for the right file name, but I can't find it. Unless I'm not looking for the right file name?
Could someone enlighten me as to where I'm going wrong? It would be a massive help.

Not sure what theme pack you are using but in Pearl Theme Professional Pack we've included an Email Template Editor extension. Maybe you already have it, it should make the process of customizing email templates easier.

We've spent a tremendous amount of time making sure the emails generated with this extension look good across most email platforms, it should be a good start.
