Pearl theme v1.9.4 and Magento 2.3.4 with Elasticsearch v6.8.6

Has anyone managed to get the latest version of Magento 2.3.4 and v1.9.4 Pearl theme working with Elasticsearch v6.8.6 - we are hitting an error with category listing, does anyone know how to resolve ?
