Mega Menu Configuration Question

Hi there,

I noticed in the demo stores' mega menu that the top level category link is a bigger font, and then the subcategories are smaller font size:

In my installation, Everything looks the same size:

 
I'm just curious if there's a setting somewhere I specify the smaller font size for sub-categories? Or am I missing something here... I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find it. :). Or is the demo rendering / modifying it some other way, like displaying custom html blocks instead of the auto-generated categories.? Or CSS?
