Product Labels: Automatically set New and Sale

It would be great if you could set a New label on products based on the 'Set Product as New From' date fields, rather than having to remember to set attribute New to 'Yes' and 'No'. That is, if current date falls between the dates set, then 'New' label is displayed, otherwise don't display.

Same request for Sale label - automatically display if 'Special Price' field contains a value OR if a catalog price rule has been applied to discount the product. Automatically remove label once these conditions don't apply.

  It seems that works with the condition. I mean special price is not 0 worked for me.
