Sticky header and minicart "extra actions" (paypal)

The minicart appears to have a bug in 1.10.0 and 2.3.5-p2 in desktop chrome where the extra actions (in my case paypal button through braintree) drop off the bottom of the screen when you scroll (seemingly because the sticky header has become sticky). They won't come back until you refresh the page.

Can't work out why though...

  Hey there! Upgrading to the latest version of the Pearl Theme would be a good idea here. The current latest version is 1.10.1, released on the 22nd of October, 2020. 

  There have been a few issues over the versions with the buttons in the Quick Cart due to the initialization of the Sticky Header. We're still polishing those, and hope to have them resolved by the next version of the theme.

  I am now using 1.10.1 and 2.3.6. The logo in the sticky header disappears on scroll and takes the minicart with it.

  This rule seems to be the problem but I've not looked into it too carefully
