Flushing Static Files Cache destroys thumbnails
We're having a problem where, with Pearl Theme installed, flushing the static files cache (through the admin backend) destroys thumbnails on e.g. category pages and sliders. The default image is displayed instead.
Running catalog:image:resize seemed to solve this in the past - but this didn't work in the last run and isn't a sustainable solution anyway.
I couldn't find anything on this behavior in general, so it seems to it's a Pearl Theme issue.
Has anybody run into this? How did you solve it?
This is on Magento 2.3.5-p1, the Weltpixel modules are on 1.9.7

We don't seem to be able to reproduce this one on our own instances running the Pearl Theme. As a general rule for anyone reading, it's always recommended that you use the latest version of the theme. Currently, the latest version is 1.10.1, released on the 22nd of October, 2020. To find the steps for upgrading to it, check out this article: How can I update the Pearl Theme to the latest version?
As always, if anyone else experiences this or similar behavior on Magento instances running the theme, and believe those are related, please do feel free to share the details with us and we'll investigate! :)
