When using Layered Navigation filter with Search Result, infinite scroll not working

Hi

I just encountered this issue when using Layered Navigation with Search Results. When the number of items is more than the default number, the infinite scroll is suppose to load more items as you scroll down but it does not. The "working circle" comes out for a while then disappears. If you try to refresh the page. You get a page full of text/codes. 

 

The filter & infinite scroll function works perfectly if it is not a search result page i.e., a regular category page.

 

I have been able to reproduce this on the Pearl demo site as well. These are the steps:-

1) Seach for "short"

2) Filter by Brand. Multi-select brands to get more than 9 items (the default). I select "Finnistere", "LimeSisters", "StyleLure" and "CosMic" to get 10 items.

3) Scroll down the page and you will notice that the 10th item does not get loaded. 

4) Try a reload/refresh page and you will see a screen dump full of codes

This looks like a bug. Anyone encountered same problem?

  Hey Donnie. Thanks for reporting this. I've managed to reproduce it, and have passed it up to the dev team. We'll include a fix in the next release! :)
