Adding video to product page

Our website is running on Magento 2 with the pearl theme. I am planning to add videos to the product page. I have a few queries.

1. Will it slow down the page loading?
2. What file types can be used?
3. Is there any restrictions for the size of the video?
4. Can we embed a youtube link and play the video on the product page itself instead of uploading the video to the website?
