Migration from Magento 2 Google Tag Manager Extension (GTM) to GOOGLE ANALYTICS 4 (GA4) WITH GTM SUPPORT FOR MAGENTO 2

Hello,

We have installed and configured the plugin for Google UA and we need to upgrade to GA4 with the plugin GOOGLE ANALYTICS 4 (GA4) WITH GTM SUPPORT FOR MAGENTO 2.

Can you list the steps? Have we to uninstall the old module and re configure in Magento and GTM?

  The two extensions are indeed fully compatible with each other, however, it's generally advised to have a separate container for both extensions. As such, the recommended way for you to proceed here is to go ahead and create a new Google Tag Manager Container for one of the modules and re-perform the configuration steps listed in the documentation and on the respective module User Guide:

  Once you have a separate container for each extension, you should still see two Google Tag Manager tags loading into the page, however, the Container ID should be different for both of those.

  Thanks for your answer.

  We have purchased  "Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with GTM Support Magento 2" module. We need to install it for multi-instance and multi-domains sites (approximatively 50 sites divided on 3 instances). Can we do this with the licence? If not, which licence is needed?
