GA4 Ecommerce Pro sending double transactions
Hi,
We are using the Ecommerce Pro plug in on our Magento 2 application and using the Measurement Protocol Tracking Configuration to send the Purchases to GA4.
Issue we are seeing is that it is sending the transaction twice in around 20 - 25% of transactions - and it counts the items and revenue twice as well for these transactions. Prior to installing the new plug in (and sending these purchase events from the front end using GTM), this happened only very rarely.
There is currently no purchase event being sent from the front end via any tags.
Can anyone provide assistance as to how to fix this issue?

If you're still facing this issue and haven't yet managed to figure out the cause, please open up a ticket with our technical Support Team. If you're using a custom checkout, or a custom Success Page, these could be causing the extension to send the event twice.
In any case, a more in-depth investigation into the matter would be required as it's hard to tell what may be causing the problem without a look at the website.
Please include the following for the Support Team when submitting a ticket:
- Your order number
- WeltPixel product version
- Magento version
- Steps to replicate the issue you're facing
- Website access (Magento Admin, frontend)
