Dynamic remarketing error: required parameter doesn’t match your feed

I have entered my google ads conversion id in the magento backend and setup the google tag by exporting/importing json. I can see traffic flowing in the google ads admin but I am getting an error as below.  Anyone aware of what the problem is and what I need to do?

 

Fix your audience source that's sending a required parameter that doesn't match your feed

Your campaigns can't tailor dynamic ads based on user activity when the required parameter doesn't match your feed. Make sure that the audience source is sending the required parameter correctly and your feed has the right items.

The values received from your audience source for the required parameter for your business type may be formatted differently from in your feed or missing from your feed.   Solved. Problem was the WP-module was set to using internal magento product id while my google feed uses sku as id. There is a config for this in the WP-module so after flipping that switch all is fine.

  I set the SKU correctly on the config for extension Google Analytics Enhanced Ecommerce; In google feed i have set the sku child and item_group_id with parent SKU but in the remarketing parameter ecomm_prodid I m automatically set on parent SKU on product page and i don't have the option to select the child SKU.
  
  what can i do?
