OWL Carousel not rendered correctly

The OWL carousel under Related Products isn't rendered correctly.

The opening tag "<img" is missing.

What's wrong?

  We've seen this before but could not replicate it until now. Can you share more details about:

  - magento version used

  - extension version used

  - the steps taken that lead to this behaviour? ( upgrade magento, etc..)

  Magento 2.3.0

  Banner Slider and OWL Carousel Version 1.8.2

  Magento was installed clean, activated Varnish, data migration, done some minor layout tweaks.
