Support & Product Updates

We understand the importance of maintaining product compatibility with upcoming Magento versions, Security patches, PHP versions, Elastic Search, etc. There's a lot of work in doing this job, and we're happy to do it. 

That being said, we’ve maintained compatibility for all our products in the last 10+ years without any additional cost besides the initial extension purchase cost, and we're glad we managed to do that for our customers.  The Magento ecosystem, however, has changed in the past years, and as major players in this market, we have to choose between abandoning certain extensions and adding a cost for future product updates. 

We believe that the impact of abandoning an extension is far greater than adding an update cost, because an abandoned extension would prevent existing merchants from keeping their stores up to date with latest Magento versions, PHP versions, Security patches and so on. 

We chose to stick to our core policy and continue to support all of our products with updates and compatibility adjustments, however, in order to be able to do that, we've decided to add an additional cost for Support & Updates after the support period expires. That cost will allow us to keep improving the products, aligning them with all the changes that occur in the Magento ecosystem.

Starting with March 2023, all our products come with 1 year of Support and Updates included, compared to the 1 month Support that we had up to this point. This means that you'll have access to the following for 365 days after you purchase a product from our website:

• Access to our Support Team for any questions you have about the product
• Access to all product versions that are released during the active Support Period

Once the initial 365 days are up, the Support Period can be extended when needed as follows: 

• 1 year Support & Updates - 60% of Product Price
  
  Example: Product price - $249, 1 Year extended support & updates - $149
