How to redirect to Shopping Cart Page after adding a product to the cart

There's a specific Magento Setting that can be used to achieve this. The option, if set to Yes, will allow for bypassing the Ajax Add to Cart functionality, and will redirect the user to the Shopping Cart automatically once a product is added. 

To enable it, head into Admin -> Stores -> Configuration -> Sales -> Checkout -> Shopping Cart -> After Adding a Product Redirect to Shopping Cart and set that to Yes. 

After saving the config, flush the Magento Cache and check the functionality on the frontend. 

Note! If you're using the WeltPixel Quick Cart extension, and you're being redirected to the Shopping Cart Page automatically, you might have this option set to Yes. If you need to use the Ajax Add to Cart and Open Mini Cart functionality, set this option to No.
